At the Battle of Ideas, young entrepreneurs will come together in a community to collaborate and compete for a #500,000 startup seed capital, enterprise management software for their businesses, and advisory resources from experienced professionals in various industries in Nigeria.

The initial step in starting a business might be challenging for many, but here at the Israel Ogundipe Initiative, we firmly believe that the true challenge lies in sustaining its growth over time. Dealing with pressure, structure, regulations, accountability, reporting, expansions, mentorship, sales, and several other hurdles necessary for sustaining a business cannot be ignored.

Unfortunately, most small business owners and young startups cannot deal with these demands. They lack the understanding of taxation and accounting, they do not have the quality network to attract sales, they do not have the funding to employ skilled employees, they do not have the technical know-how to manage digital platforms, and so many other sustainability measures.

Through the Battle of Ideas, we want to ensure young business owners belonging to the community have access to all these resources and that they become sustainable by every means possible. As a member of the community;
